Dr. Aidanne MacDonald-Milewski, ND
During my childhood, I visited a lot of nursing homes with my mom for work and had very close relationships with my grandparents. These experiences brought to light how polypharmacy and chronic disease can impact individuals and their families. Witnessing these health struggles at a young age sparked my interest in medicine and ultimately becoming a naturopathic doctor.
As a naturopathic doctor, my role is to educate and empower my patients to achieve sustainable, optimal health and wellness that suits their individual needs. I work to get to the root cause of my patients’ current health concerns while also promoting healthy lifestyle fundamentals to prevent disease down the road. I commonly use botanical medicines, nutritional supplements, hydrotherapy, and lifestyle counseling as effective means to address and prevent disease.
I partner with those of all ages and am especially passionate about the care of seniors. I address many different health concerns including insomnia, fatigue, hormone imbalances, digestive disorders, hypertension, high cholesterol, and diabetes.
I graduated top of my class from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM)after earning my bachelor of science in genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I maintain a license to practice in the state of Minnesota, as Wisconsin is in the pre-licensure stage of regulation. In addition to my primary care training at CCNM, I had clinical training in naturopathic & complementary oncology and care for those living with HIV. For more information about training see the doctor of naturopathic medicine education and training page on our website.
