Dr. Jennifer Havens, ND
Dr. Havens is a naturopathic physician and clinical researcher specializing in evidence- based, precision integrative cancer care for adult and pediatric patients with advanced- stage disease or limited treatment options. Dr. Havens earned her medical degree from Sonoran University of Health Sciences and completed internships at Yale University’s Department of Pediatrics and the Center for Integrative Medicine at George Washington University. She was awarded an NIH NRSA Fellowship at the University of Washington, where she continued her clinical training. She later completed a Naturopathic Oncology residency at City of Hope (formerly Cancer Treatment Centers of America) in Philadelphia, followed by a breast surgical oncology internship at Ironwood Cancer and Research Center in Arizona.
Currently, Dr. Havens serves as Program Director for Integrative Medicine and is a staff physician at Children’s Wisconsin in the MACC Fund Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. She is also a faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Before becoming a naturopathic physician, Dr. Havens completed her doctoral training in Molecular and Cancer Biology at the University of Virginia. She then worked in the government sector developing molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases. Her extensive background in cancer biology, genomics, and naturopathic medicine allows her to offer personalized, integrative cancer care based on genetic analysis, tailored to patients with advanced-stage disease.
