Strong Bones Smoothie

This smoothie contains the superfood, moringa. One tsp of moringa provides 80 mg calcium. In addition to moringa being a rich source of bone-building minerals, it also contains phytochemicals and antioxidants that have been shown in some research studies to reduce chronic inflammation.
Use collard greens and soymilk for added calcium!
Ingredients:
- ½ banana
- ¼ fresh avocado (or 2-3 TBSP frozen avocado)
- 1 tsp moringa powder
- 2 cups kale, spinach, or collard greens
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 scoop plant-based protein powder (ie. Sunwarrior)
- 12 ounces unsweetened soymilk or almond milk
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
