The word diet comes from the Greek word diaita, which means lifestyle or “way of life.”
For many people following a diet equates to restriction or weight loss or rigid “yes” and “no” foods. But that is not the Mediterranean way. It’s a way of life. A mindset. Consistency over time. A focus on quality, real, whole, vibrant, plant-rich foods. And a lot of olive oil!
Perhaps the most important aspect of the Mediterranean diet is that food is a source of connection- to heritage, the land, family traditions, and loved ones. Sharing meals and stories brings people together and connects you with nature.

For the past year, I’ve been immersed in research on the Mediterranean diet and lifestyle, exploring its powerful benefits: supporting heart health, taming inflammation, lowering cancer risk, and reducing the risk of Alzheimer’s. The culmination of this journey was an incredible trip to Greece. Along the way, I had the privilege of sharing meals and stories with Greece’s vibrant older generations, gaining valuable insights into their timeless wisdom on living well. Now, I’m excited to share my findings with you in my Mediterranean Masterclass.
When you join my course, you’ll travel with me to Greece, get a step-by-step guidebook, easy-to-follow recipes, and informational self-paced videos. You’ll also get invited to a LIVE “cook with me” session, where we will cook Mediterranean-inspired recipes and you can ask questions.
Let’s connect. Together we can live longer and live better- the Mediterranean way!
