Dr. Madison Vanden Boom, ND
As a Naturopathic Doctor, I have a clinical focus in gastrointestinal, metabolic, and hormonal concerns, as well as nervous system regulation, fatigue, and other chronic health conditions. I believe healing begins with returning to the foundations of health through nutrition and lifestyle counseling, targeted supplementation, functional lab analysis, botanical medicine, and Traditional Chinese Medicine principles to optimize health. I see my role not just as your provider, but as your partner in health — here to help you understand your body, make informed decisions, and move from feeling sluggish and drained to vibrant and full of energy.
I believe healthcare works best when patients feel heard, supported, and actively involved in their care. My goal is to take the time to listen and understand your unique health story, identify the root cause(s) that may be contributing to your symptoms, and create a personalized treatment plan that helps you feel your best.
My practice focuses on gastrointestinal disorders, weight loss, high cholesterol, and hormonal health, as well as nervous system regulation and chronic fatigue. I commonly work with patients experiencing conditions such as PMOS (PCOS), PMS, weight loss resistance, digestive concerns like gas, bloating & constipation, eczema, acne, and hair loss.
I take a whole-person approach to care, combining nutrition and lifestyle counseling, botanical medicine, targeted supplementation, functional lab analysis, and Traditional Chinese Medicine principles to support healing. I value our doctor-patient relationship, and I see my role not only as your doctor, but as your partner, helping you better understand your body, make informed decisions, and build a sustainable, healthy lifestyle.
Before pursuing my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Sonoran University of Health Sciences, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. My background in research, including botanical medicine and microbiology, has strengthened my appreciation for combining evidence-based science with natural therapies. I have a deep passion for nutrition and strongly believe in food as medicine. This commitment was recognized through my receipt of the Bryan Blossom Foundation Scholarship, awarded to physicians advancing health through nutrition and lifestyle medicine.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy practicing Pilates, spending time outdoors, and continuing to learn about movement, nutrition, and the many ways lifestyle influences health. I value community and believe meaningful connections are an important part of healing.
