Lindsay Huffman, APNP
As a Nurse Practitioner, I work with patients on hormone balance, weight management, menopause and perimenopause, digestive issues, treatment of autoimmune conditions, and overall wellness. I am a strong advocate for patient-centered care and believe that lasting wellness comes from addressing the interconnected relationship between the mind and body. My goal is to help patients feel their best, improve their quality of life, and support lifelong health.
As a nurse practitioner and Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APNP) at Lakeside Natural Medicine, I collaborate with our Naturopathic Doctors to take an integrative medicine approach to patient care. I believe in delivering compassionate, personalized care that empowers patients to make informed decisions about their health while feeling supported every step of the way.
My clinical practice focuses on hormone replacement therapy, weight management, healthy aging, cardiovascular health, blood pressure and cholesterol management, digestive issues, osteoporosis, rheumatology, autoimmune conditions, menopause, and overall wellness. I enjoy helping patients understand their health concerns and developing treatment plans that align with their goals and long-term well-being.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and went on to complete my Master of Science in Nursing at Marquette University. I have more than ten years working in mainstream medicine in hospital settings and four years serving as clinical nursing faculty at Marquette University. I have since transitioned into working with independent clinics with a more specialized focused on overall health, wellness and preventative care.
I am a strong advocate for patient-centered care and believe that lasting wellness comes from addressing the interconnected relationship between the mind, body, and gut. My goal is to help patients feel their best, improve their quality of life, and create sustainable habits that support lifelong health.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time outdoors and living a healthy, active lifestyle with my husband and four children.
