Natural Health and Wellness for the Whole Family

Our Practitioners

Dr. Katarina Meister, ND

As a Naturopathic Doctor (ND), my clinical practice focuses on chronic conditions such as hormone imbalances, gastrointestinal conditions, weight loss resistance, hypothyroidism, acne, female hair loss, chronic fatigue, and autoimmune disorders. I manage each patient with an individualized, evidenced-based, and holistic approach that may include lifestyle changes, functional lab analyses, botanical medicine, homeopathic medicine, and nutritional therapies.
I am here to help guide you on a path toward healing while also providing you with the tools and education needed for you to become your own health advocate. The goal is to get you to a place where you can find a newfound sense of well-being; improve resiliency to physical and emotional stress; and feel strong, confident, and energized in your own body.

Dr. Joanne Aponte, ND

As a naturopathic doctor, I provide natural health and wellness consultations for adults and children. I take a holistic approach to wellness using a variety of natural therapies such as diet and lifestyle counseling, clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, and vitamin therapy. I am committed to getting to the root causes of things. Together we will dig deeper and go beyond simply addressing your symptoms.

Dr. Jennifer Havens, ND

Dr. Havens is a naturopathic doctor and clinical researcher, offering evidence-based, precision integrative cancer care to adult and pediatric patients. Her extensive background in cancer biology, genomics, and naturopathic medicine allows her to offer personalized, integrative cancer care based on genetic analysis, tailored to patients with advanced-stage disease. In addition to offering integrative cancer care at Lakeside Natural Medicine in Milwaukee Wisconsin, she is also Program Director for Integrative Medicine and is a staff physician at Children’s Wisconsin in the MACC Fund Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. She is also a faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Mackenzie Prentice, DNP, APNP

As a Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner (DNP), I’ve had the opportunity to work and train in both the conventional medicine setting and also in integrative medicine. Although my passion is in integrative medicine, my experience in the conventional medicine world has given me a unique skill set to use an all-inclusive approach to identify the root cause of your chronic condition or symptoms. Once imbalances are identified, we can work together to develop a personalized plan with evidence-based tools and resources. My purpose is to assist you in becoming confident in having agency over your own health. Once your health is back at baseline, I am certain we can work together to move past that baseline threshold to optimize your health and overall quality of life. This process of health optimization is a lifelong journey, and one that can truly change your life in the best way. I am honored to be a part of your wellness journey.

Dr. Sarah Axtell, ND

As a naturopathic doctor, I help people who are facing many different chronic health conditions, such as hormonal imbalances, thyroid disorders, autoimmune diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, and weight loss resistance. I believe strongly in addressing you as an individual, not just your symptoms. I specialize in addressing the root cause of illness by utilizing effective, natural approaches including nutrition, botanical remedies, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, detoxification, and biotherapeutic drainage. My passion is food as medicine.
