Crispy Baked Tofu￼

You can add this crispy baked tofu for a protein source in all sorts of meals or add to salads. It goes great with Asian and Thai inspired meals.
Firm or super firm tofu (buy organic)
Olive oil cooking spray
Remove the tofu from the package and wrap it in a clean paper towel. Place it on a plate then put another plate on top of it. Add a few heavy items on top like cans or cookbooks. Allow to sit for 30 minutes or until most the of water has drained onto the bowl.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Once the tofu is drained, cut into squares of desired size.
- Lightly spray a baking sheet with olive oil and place the tofu on it in a single layer, the spritz with more olive oil to ensure that the tofu is well coated.
- Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and flip. Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes or until the tofu is golden brown.
Store in a sealed contained in the fridge
