Group Visit Series: Perimenopause & Menopause
BySarah Axtell, ND •June 18, 2024
A battery of scientific evidence shows that if you want success in changing something, you should meet with groups of people doing the same.
My goal with this Perimenopause/Menopause Group Visit is to facilitate a support network among women and give women better tools to address this transitional time. You’ll leave with a training manual on how to prepare for or trouble shoot specific symptoms that occur during this time.
I have helped thousands of women not just survive the hormone madness associated with menopause but thrive. You can absolutely thrive during this menopausal journey.
I will teach you how to do this time of your life differently so you don’t have to suffer…to essentially build a toolkit for this time in your life. You can use this menopausal journey as an opportunity to reset your health.
In this Group Visit, we will discuss the following:
- Eating for your hormones
- The adrenal-hormone connection
- The gut-hormone connection
- Specific protocols using diet, lifestyle, and supplements for the following symptoms associated with menopause: hot flashes and night sweats, anxiety, depression, insomnia, low libido, vaginal dryness, and weight loss resistance
What can I expect at a Group Visit?
In an intimate group of approximately 8 patients, we will gather in our “food as medicine” kitchen. The group visits are scheduled as a series of two 75-minute visits that are scheduled approximately four weeks apart.
We will work together in a hands-on environment to prepare and taste therapeutic foods.
At the end of the visit, all patients will leave with a wellness packet that include recommendations for a therapeutic diet, lifestyle interventions, recipes, resources, and supplements.
