Peanut Butter Avocado Smoothie

Think beyond guacamole! The uses for avocado are endless. I’ve made it into chocolate mousse, and I frequently add it to smoothies to make it extra creamy and filling. This smoothie contains not only avocado but also peanut butter. The good fat content in the avocado and peanut butter balances blood sugar. Therefore, you won’t think about food for hours after drinking this smoothie. Enjoy!
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 1 cup almond milk, unsweetened
- 1 Tablespoon peanut butter
- 1-2 ice cubes
optional- Add 1 tbsp cocoa powder to make it chocolate!
Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
