Turmeric Protein Drink

Here is a yummy recipe for an anti-inflammatory protein drink. This is one of my favorites. It’s a great breakfast alternative or snack. Best part, it contains several of the most medicinal and anti-inflammatory spices – turmeric, ginger and cinnamon!
2 cups water or nut milk
1 serving protein powder
1 tbsp flax oil
1 tsp honey or 1-2 drops stevia liquid (a little more sweetener can be added if needed for taste)
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger
1/2 to 1 tbsp flax seeds
Add ice if desired.
Enjoy!
